Meet Dawn

Dawn began practicing yoga and meditation to relieve her migraines.

Before starting Self Reboot, Dawn worked at one of the premier commercial real estate consulting firms where their motto was “work hard and play hard.”  After years of chasing back-to-back deadlines at a New-York-minute pace, she was rewarded with severe chronic migraine headaches, which over time manifested into insomnia, depression and autoimmune diseases.  She visited at least 10 different specialists in a little over two years and not a single one was able to determine the cause of her declining health.   At times, the pain was so unbearable she had thoughts of giving up and committing suicide but, instead, she found the power from within and committed her life to not only surviving, but thriving despite the debilitating pain.

Dawn ultimately healed herself by learning holistic techniques through acupuncture, yoga, meditation, fitness and nutrition.  Turning her pain into passion, she was inspired to become a certified Yoga instructor, Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.

In 2014, Dawn left the corporate world and started Self Reboot to teach others the benefits of yoga and meditation and how to manage stress and avoid stress-related illness.

Today, Dawn has 11 years of teaching experience and has rebooted over a 100 mid-to-large size companies in the tri-state area.  Self Reboot is an authorized vendor with Cigna Healthcare and several other insurance brokerage firms.
